Our Vegas Vow Renewal in Photos...

Today was the big day! Ed and I celebrated our ten year wedding anniversary by renewing our vows in Las Vegas! We had a "Blue Hawaii" themed wedding with ELVIS! It was so much fun - and I hope you were able to watch the "live stream" on the internet! If not, no worries. HERE is the link to the video on You Tube! The video will tell the story much better than I ever could. You'll see that it wasn't Elvis... or the Hula Girl... or even Hope that stole the show. It was this handsome little guy!

Brian was so excited about this whole thing - and was such a ham during the ceremony!! Honestly, I don't even have the words for how adorable and funny he was. He repeated the vows with Ed... he insisted that we all hold hands... he danced with Hope... and he even talked into the microphone! Just wait until you see the video.

Until then, here are all the photos - mine and the professionals. Many thanks to "A Elvis Chapel" for such a wonderful experience. It was a pleasure to work with them - and the entire service exceeded my expectations! This is one for the memory books...

Love it! Looks like such a fun time & Brian was definitely the BEST 'best man'! Kate, you looked radiantly beautiful and surrounded by a special 'glow'. Love was in the aire!

I haven't commented on any of your stuff Kate out of fear. But I do say you have taught me the lesson of how to have joy in the midst of grief. We have a horrific tragedy and I just keep turning to your words to help me along. That is all you will hear from me for a very long time. Your babies are beautiful and a gift!

Gavin's Playground Project

Gavin's Playground Project was born from my desire to see an "All Abilities" playground built at Nemours/A.I. duPont Hospital for Children in Wilmington, Delaware. This is the hospital where Gavin spent a lot of time during his life... and where he ultimately died, surrounded by friendly and familiar faces. To mark the one year anniversary of his death, I held a fundraiser on April 5, 2014. You can read all about it in THIS post.

We raised a LOT of money, but not enough for a playground! Gavin's Trust Project

I created "Gavin's Trust Project" to help support Gavin's friends who receive services from the Chester County Intermediate Unit in Pennsylvania. I wanted to continue to try to "make the impossible... possible" for kids like Gavin, knowing well how hard it can be to get much needed "special needs" items. It makes me happy to know that even after his death, Gavin continues to help others. Click HERE to learn more about the Trust Project!
