Just Between Friends...

Today was the first day of a consignment sale I'm involved with called Just Between Friends. Every Spring and Fall, they hold a HUGE sale in an Expo center about 6.3 minutes away from my house. Lucky me!

I was back and forth to the Expo center in between dropping Brian off at pre-school, coming home to check on Gavin (he was acting funny today - a little out of it), dropping off all my sale items, picking up Brian from pre-school, checking on Gavin again, doing my volunteer work for the sale (which allows me to be the first to shop when the doors open!)... and then coming home. Unfortunately, a half hour after I got home Gavin spiked a fever of 102.8!! Curious, I took Brian's temperature - 101! What in the world????? You know I've been watching Gavin like a hawk since. Both of their fevers have come down...but I'm nervous.

I'll spend tonight doing my research. At the end of the drop off period, I walk around the entire expo center and map it out. I take photos of things I may be interested in and then google them when I get home to check prices. There is no shortage of toys...

I found two of Gavin's favorite Leap Frog books (his get ruined quickly with drool) for only $1.00! These books are about $15.00 new! I may even replace his favorite Leap Frog activity table which has also seen a lot of drool. As you can see, there is no shortage of activity tables either...

Or clothes...

I'm even contemplating (just contemplating!) this monster...

I've always wanted something like this inside (yes - inside!) for Gavin to work on his climbing safely. We'll see...

It all may be pointless if Gavin has any issues overnight. His temperature is back up. I just went up to check on him in bed and it is 101.2.

Please say a little prayer that Gavin remains seizure free?
