HELP!!
I've been trapped in the bathroom all day long!
As it turns out, this child is NOT a camel. Or anything close.
He needs to pee - or poop - just about every half hour which is really interrupting my "me time."
And this "Parent's Magazine" is for the birds - I hate any publications that make me feel like a lazy, un-creative, disheveled parent. This is going right in the recycle bin along with those cooking magazines that have no business in my home.
Every time we're in the loo he wants to clean up after himself and flush the toilet and wash and dry his hands and then put his Angry Birds underpants back on. It's so tedious, I tell you!!
I guess there is a positive to all this. He hasn't had a single accident. And with no schedule this week of any kind - we have all the time in the world for this crap.
I am sorry to be laughing, but i am! We are so anxious for our babies to make the next steps towards growing up, even though it is not always easy to accomplish or the easiest thing for us. That's what being a mommy is all about. I am not laughing at you, just with you!! Yeah Brian for no accidents!

ReplyDeleteI usually take the Parents magazine, make snarky comments on the sides of the articles and mail to my friend. This way we can both see how we are not worthy :)
