Merry Christmas Eve!!
We have had a fun, relaxing day and hope you did, too! (Well, except when alarms went off in the basement because our brand new water heater was leaking just as Ed was pulling out the big Ham dinner he slaved over all day. Yes, that really happened.)
The boys opened Christmas Eve presents from Mommy and Daddy! Gavin was not interested in being photographed, but he got a fun tub toy that he already tested and gave a thumbs up. And Brian was thrilled to get the Polar Express book AND movie!
After dinner, Brian snuggled on the couch with Daddy to watch it. I think this may become a tradition!
Gavin and I went from window to window checking out the SNOW!
Turns out we got a white Christmas!!
We left cookies, milk and carrots for Santa and his reindeer.
Gavin decorated the cookies himself at school!!
We settled in Brian's room for a Christmas Eve book - and you'll NEVER believe what happened...
After Gavin left to go to bed, Brian HAD to hear Santa ONE more time. Just to be sure...

Though I've grown old, the bell still rings for me...as it does for all who truly believe.
