Yesterday, at the end of my blog post, I said to come back today for a special and important announcement. I wrote that as a challenge to myself - intent on finishing Brian's birthday video from his SECOND birthday and sharing it today.
Wow - was it a challenge.
With Miss Katja off for her birthday, a visit from Granny, a trip to that goat farm to get ice cream and play on the playground, two boys who didn't nap and a case of the missing "first steps" video...it took a LOT longer than I expected.
The good news is - we had a great visit with Granny, everyone was fed today, no one missed their hugs and kisses, and I even made dinner. As a matter of fact - I made Ed Eggplant Parmesan. What's even more impressive is that I made Eggplant Parm and didn't have an agenda! That's a meal that could pretty much get me anything I want - it puts Ed into a "trance" and the answer to any of my requests is usually yes. Too bad I didn't have anything to ask for!
The better news is - the video is finally complete. It was loads of fun to look at all of these cute photos and marvel at how quickly he grew from a baby into a boy! I just have one request from all of you. I have such guilt that I never completed this for his second birthday - it's not like me. Could you all make me feel better by watching it?? Pretty please? How can you resist Brian's cute little face...

For many of you that thought my big announcement was a pregnancy - give me a couple days. You may just be right! Fingers crossed...
